Energy conservation and efficiency measures adopted on a consistent basis has enabled Shree Cement to reduce its energy cost which has enabled it to get recognition as one of the most cost efficient cement producer in the Indian Cement Industry. Consistent management thrust on energy conservation activities and cost conscious efforts in all spheres of company’s operations have resulted in making Shree Cement one of the most energy efficient Plant.

Considering the efforts made by the company in energy efficiency, environment, quality & corporate governance, Shree has recently been awarded for best improvement in electrical & thermal energy performance, best environmental excellence in plant operations & second best for quality excellence by National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCCBM).

Congratulating members of Shree family, Executive Director Shri M.K. Singhi emphasized that Shree has inculcated the concept of sustainable development which has become a driving force in achieving objectives and moving towards low carbon philosophy through adopting innovative techniques, technologies and promoting energy efficiency & use of alternate raw materials and fuels, enhancing eco-friendly corporate image and boosting the morale of employees and stakeholders.
